Our specialism

Artex ceilings, made flat again

Artex removal is our specialism. Textured Artex ceilings are skimmed over and brought back to a flat, smooth ceiling you can paint straight onto.

It might be one room or every ceiling in a four-bedroom house. Either way the house is left clean and tidy at the end of each day.

From a customer

“ADL left my plaster work completely flat and with a glass-like finish.”

richard prestonon Google, October 2024

Well, when I contacted Ashley @ ADL plastering, I did so on the basis of his locality and the strength for the previous Google reviews. I can say without doubt it was the best experience I have had with any building trade to date Almost immediately Ashley responded to my query, I provided him details of the job in hand (skim all Artex ceilings in a 4 bed house). His communication was excellent and his price was very competitive. Ashley and Leon arrived exactly on the date and time they said they would. I was expecting a fair amount of mess but the house was always left clean and tidy at the end of each day. They both worked hard to get the job done within a very reasonable timescale and cost. During their time at my address, I identified some additional unforeseen wall plastering, again Ashley was more than happy to add these smaller jobs to his to-do list.

Lastly and probably the most important point of all. The quality of their work is impeccable! Plastering is an art form which requires both skill and experience to complete to a good finish. ADL left my plaster work completely flat and with a glass-like finish. I have painted some of the ceilings in the house already and did not have to do any making good, which is remarkable.

In summary, I will be using ADL again for other projects and can only provide them with the highest of praise. Highly recommended!. Great job guys, and thank you!

I recently hired Adl plastering ltd team for a renovation project, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of work were outstanding. The team arrived on time each day, kept the work area clean and organized, and completed the job within the expected timeframe. The finish on the walls and ceilings is absolutely flawless—smooth, even, and ready for painting with minimal prep. If you're looking for reliable, skilled plasterers who take pride in their work, I highly recommend this team. The difference their work has made to the overall look and feel of the space is remarkable. Such friendly and professional team!
